Aline Faro Fernandes is a passionate advocate for the healing power of food, dubbing herself a “healing chef.” Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, her early years spent with Portuguese and Brazilian grandparents instilled in her a love for fresh fruits and vegetables. This childhood connection to nature and nourishment sparked her lifelong interests in healing, astrology, growing food, music, and family dynamics.
Aline’s journey as a Healing Chef is deeply rooted in her personal experience of overcoming health challenges through mindful eating. Struggling with a skin condition and polycystic ovary syndrome she discovered the healing potential of raw foods, which dramatically transformed her life. This powerful experience ignited her passion for culinary arts with a focus on health and wellness.
Motivated by her own healing journey, Aline decided to pursue a career as a chef, graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in culinary arts in 2006. Building on her culinary skills, she furthered her expertise by becoming an Institute of Integrative Nutrition health coach in 2013.
Aline has spent over 15 years working in cutting-edge health-focused farm-to-table restaurants in South Florida, where she combines her culinary talents with her knowledge of nutrition and wellness. Her approach to cooking emphasizes the use of fresh, organic ingredients to create delicious and nourishing meals that promote overall well-being. Aline’s work extends beyond restaurants; she also educates and empowers clients through culinary classes, workshops and retreats.
This personal connection to food as medicine drives her mission to inspire others to nourish their bodies and experience the transformative power of mindful eating.
